Synopsis: The  Omagh 2010 Taskforce worked in partnership with 81 young people aged 14 upwards  from the 9 post primary schools and1 FE College in the Omagh District area. The aim of VOICE was to raise awareness of the 2010 Vision for Omagh, consult with the young people and, capture their opinions on Omagh and it’s future in a creative way. The participants were involved in a range of creative workshops in the Technology Education Centre in Omagh, and some of the work produced has appeared in the year 4/5 progress report that has been produced by the Omagh Task Force in relation to the 2010 Vision document.
The VOICE project was an innovative and creative way of consulting with young people in Omagh in relation to the Omagh 2010 Vision/Strategy.
