Synopsis: A unique creative dance project involving young people from Greencastle and Loughmacrory Youth Clubs. The project called G-Lo, the name derived from the initials of the two participating youth clubs, has involved 35 participants, both male and female from the two clubs. The young people have had the opportunity to work with the dance tutor Dylan Quinn . Dylan who is from Enniskillen, carried out taster workshops in both clubs, and following on from those has worked with both groups, initially in their own respective clubs, and, then the two groups worked together. The project culminated in 2 performances one in Greencastle in February 06 and one in Loughmacrory March 06. This was a great opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent as well as the local communities having the opportunity to see some contemporary dance being performed in their local venues.
