Participants: 50 young people 7 - 11 yrs

Synopsis: Pupils from 2 primary schools in the Cookstown area created ceramic art pieces in collaboration with ceramicist Diane McCormick. Stewartstown Primary School and Donaghey Primary School linked to areas in their Curriculum and created wall tiles based on the themes ‘On the Sea Shore' and ‘Creation' respectively.

This project was initiated in partnership with The Cookstown District Council Arts and Cultural Department, as part of an overall strategy looking to enhance and enrich young peoples' environment through the visual arts.
