Synopsis: This cross-community project engaged P7 pupils from St. John the Baptist Primary School and Edenderry Primary School , Portadown in exploring inequalities between first and third world countries as part of the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY campaign 2005.

Pupils initially worked alongside script writer Catherine Ann Cullen in creating a child's' interpretations of ‘famine' and ‘poverty' through stories, poetry, imagery and current news. There followed a 3-day intensive workshop programme in the Millennium Court Arts Centre, Portadown, working with animators Mike Bass, Michael Connelly, Sarah Lawerence and video artist Ann Donnelly.

The resulting animation is a bombardment of stories, abstract thoughts, and snippets of information gleaned from television, papers and school.
